April 12th

Dear Blogging World,

Design Brief:
Who: the Hoveround product is traditionally for older age persons who may have trouble with mobility, but not now. The new and improved hoveround is designed for the younger crowd looking to relax but still be mobile and have a good time.
What: The great, reliable product, The Hoveround has been a stable for elderly mobility and now this new product, aimed at the interest at younger people, will be sure to hold up their standards to create a comfortable living and moving environment.
Why: For as long as i can remember I have seen the Hoveround commercials and thought it would have been cool to just be able to get around with ease and not have to get up if I don' want to. Now, with this new and improved Hoveround, to be named later, it gives that option to the demographic of persons in their twenties to fulfill their dreams of owning a hoveround.
How: By re designing the Hoveround to get interest in a younger crowd. I will create an advertising campaign that will strike the interest with the younger crowd by including technology that our youth relies on these days.

Researched the Hoveround website which is http://www.hoveround.com/. And looked at the different chair options that you can use and order.

No sketches yet, but here is a powerchair.

Now picture this decked out with like an Ipad, a sound system, chrome rims, a tv, and other technology stuff.

  1. In what way the hoveround would appeal to younger people?

  2. I think mayyybe an Ipad just for all the technology that comes along with one, rims...not so much that's kinda gaudy, and a sound system would be nice for those long scoots through the park or something. I think it's no different than a segway and young people love those the only thing is how do you make it look like your not handicapped?
