Pet Phone App Logo

So this is a rough draft of my products App Logo. My product works hand in hand with a live stream of your pet that gets sent to your phone, so that was the purpose and reason for creating an app logo for the product.

Can I have some thoughts on the color scheme. What do you guys think? Would you suggest a different color scheme for a pet product?

project 3 5-31-11

I went with the egg molds and I am making them into jelly (jello) shot molds. This is my package design. Will hang in stores that sell alcohol or party supplies. Also going to sell them on-line on varies party supply web sites.

So far, I've redesigned the product itself, making little changes from the original design. I basically just made it available in more of a variety of styles (e.g. Leopard print) and colors. And, one of my advertisements is a free App that allows the user to set a timer to reapply sunscreen. I will also make it where they can set a personalized profile for their specific skin-type and activities. That is pretty much all I've gotten to work on. I plan on doing a website and a magazine ad and still trying to think of a forth that is different from what I've done with the pervious projects.

The Solid Ice is getting more solid

I am working on the process book now because I am done with my promotions and all that and not too much needed to be changed. However, I am working on a special promotion that physically cannot be put in the process book. It can be uploaded here but I'll just give you a screenshot of the super awesome 30 second commercial I'm making for it.

Soooo.... this week I didn't get much done. Really busy and enjoying the weekend. Most of my work this weekend was on the powerpoint and essay response. Anyway kinda wondering if the product design itself counts as one of the designs. I spent a lot of time on it even though it is simple. If it's not then I'm thinking of my final design being an iphone app. Oh and I made a website, check it....oh and now it's spell checked

Well I've created two more cards, the hardest part of this project is actually illustrating the fold directions which I'm not used to doing. However this has been a good experience for me because I'm remembering how to actually make these forms which is something I haven't done in a long time.

My project is finally heading into a direction that I want it to go. I have two ideas for a magazine ad, and have digital comps for one of them so far. Still working on the logo and color scheme. Before my gpu died I had started designing my creative brief.

Working on packaging design for a pillow is giving me some trouble but going to Target later to see how pillows are usually packaged.

I know some suggested to make my product sarcastic and fun, and but I'm going in the opposite direction and will make the boyfriend pillow have a real target market.

I have some sketches for my magazine ad and logo.

So far I just have the billboard, Im still thinking of the other 3 ads. I do not want to do the same ones as the other two projects. So it is somewhat challenging trying to find great pictures, to put my ads on.

Project Update

So far I am working on completing my first 2 designs for the project. The main problem that I am having is figuring out the best way to advertise my product. Secondly, the color of my bath pallete is blue, and since it reflects light all throughout the bathroom it tends to clash with the product itself. Therefore I am looking for some ways to get around this and work it out so it doesn't clash as much and gives off the same calm and peaceful feel.

Solid Ice promotions

So the question you should be asking yourself is... what will this magnificent piece hotshot product look like when I race to the nearest Walmart or Target on the midnight of its release? Here is the box.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Yes. It's a plane... advertising the brand name in the skies above every major city, village, town, and rural area across America. That's right... Solid Ice is bringing back skywriting.

Here is my design brief, a banner (that will be put on an airplane banner and possibly a blimp), and a poster ad (probably for a sporting event screen ad). This is my first blog because I was sick so more feedback the better. Thanks.

Revisions

I dont have a whole lot to post... just small revisions. Im tweaking them out still. I plan to put my final stuff on a website, water bottles, and flyer.. I dont know about the flashlight yet. I like the overall idea but having a hard time doing what I want with it.

So I didn't get much progress done over the past week because I went on vacation and was trying not to think about anything. I've decided that I want to do a website though because I've included a website address in my other designs. This is my final design for the billboard though

Brainwave-controlled cat ears for humans created by Japanese Neurowear

Japanese company Neurowear is creating a range of fashion items that are operated using brainwaves, including a pair of moveable cat ears.

The cat ear product, called "necomimi" is a novelty hair band that is worn in the normal way but features sensors that pick up on brain signals and convert them into visible actions -- in this case by wiggling the cat ears.

The ears twitch through a range of different positions, which correspond to different brain activity. So when you concentrate, the ears point upwards and when you relax the ears flop down and forwards.

Here are some ideas I have so far... not completely finished but still working on it. I have come to realize that the product gets lost within the blue so i am going to find a way to bring it out a little more. And I am not too fond of the font here really so I will be working on that. So, yup... there ya go
